A dramatic video has emerged of a male adult elephant charging a newborn hippo and its mother as they bathe in a waterhole.
The footage, shot from Erindi Lodge Game viewing deck in Namibia on May 6, shows the alpha male nearly stumping over the baby hippo as he ties to clear the area for his herd.
"He didn't expect he would have to face the worst threat of the savannah, the newborn hippo," the filmer wrote online.
