So these butchers in Swat, Pakistan (where Sharia Law is openly practiced) took shortcuts and sold meat from animals that were butchered the HARAM way (Haram is BAD, Halal is GOOD in Islam). A halal killing is by way of slitting the animals throat and let it die slowly as the blood spurts out. Whilst the meat was hastily consumed, the Taliban who control that town found out and decided to give them a good "hiding" if you will pardon the pun - (meat, hide, hiding, whipping).
